I always hang out at the mini park just outside the building where I work in. There is this little koi pond where I sit down sometimes during lunch and just relax and de-stress. Sometimes some of my colleagues who are lunching there or just came back from lunch would sit down with me. Its sort of a get together place I guess.
I returned from the 3 days Batam trip on Sunday. So much has changed since I went to the hill top mosque - mainly the facilities are better. The mosque we visited was a buzz with activity which is so different from the ghost-town like atmosphere of the one we visited in Johore. Kids running around here and there, peddlers selling Bakso outside the mosque and there is even a court where people play volleyball, soccer and badminton at different time of the day. But Alhamdulillah, before azan
(prayer call) everyone stop and go for prayers. We head to the Mega Mall before returning to Singapore and the place is turning into a shopping centre like the ones we had in Singapore.
