For the first time in 3 years, I was the only guy among my colleagues who went for the Big Walk on Sunday. One of them roped in her reluctant boyfriend. The walk this year was better than the last as the weather was fine. We took our 'annual' photo at the Esplanade and went to Swensen's after that to clelebrate one of the girls birthday.
I went home and slept after the morning exercise. After doing my household chores my wife got a call at around 7pm. Its seems that my brother in law's best friend got involved in accident and died. My wife and I was both saddened and shocked by the news as he was like part of the family. My mom-in-law wept uncontrollably. He was only 35 and had a wife and a six year old daughter. I was just talking to him last week. Life is short as it always seems. You sometimes don't know what you got till its gone. My brother-in-law is still in distress as he stare into empty space and lost his appetite,his wife said. My wife and I hold each other closer than ever as we sleep at night. We should all appreciate what he have as nothing in this world last forever.
