Unwell
Song by Matchbox 20
I sat at my usual place at Tekka Market a few Thursdays ago eating my Nasi Goreng Ikan Bilis. It has become my normal 'Thursday evening' routine to eat dinner at the market there before going to Anguilla mosque for prayers and sermons. As I was eating a foreigner sat beside and as his food was being served he asked" Am I suppose to eat all these together?" ," No ... separate, separate", replied the Indian waiters around him. I told him, " You suppose to eat the Bryiani with the Mutton Curry and the Prata with the Dhal Curry ". He smiled and said "Oh- thanks". We started chatting and I found out that he was on business trip and was flying to Vietnam the next day. He asked me why was I wearing the skull cap and I told him that I am Muslim and that is the way of the Prophet, the cap and the beard - pointing to my so called goatee. He was surprised when I told him about Indian Muslims. He thought Indian were all Hindus and only Pakistan were Muslims. I didn't stayed long cos I had to for the prayers and all that but its nice to meet up some foreigner once in a while and clear up some doubt about my religion.
Ive been suffering from a bad case of cold recently. Nowadays its hard for me to get a fever ... maybe cos of all the fruits that I have every lunch-about $2 worth of pineapple/honeydew/watermelon or papaya. All of which I would consume as I watch the fishes at the koi pond. Well I hope to get back on my feet soon cos I really need to train for my IPPT.
