A lot of people I knew felt sick recently and have to be hospitalized. One of them was my uncle. I guess he must have missed his wife, my late aunt.
While I was there my cousin took me for a ride on her scooter. The cool part about Malaysian suburbs is that you don't really have to wear a helmet when you go around your neighbourhood. So as we ride we can feel the wind in our hair and face.
First stop was the primary school she use to go when she was young. Then she showed me a house that was burned down by the owner. Apparently he locked his children, his wife and himself and burned the whole house down. You can see the charred remains of what used to be a nice house. She stopped by her friend's house and ask her friend to come out and meet her. They chat for a while and off we go again. When we reached the top part of her neighbourhood, I looked down and saw the ocean. At least that was what I told her but she said that I was dreaming.The whole ride was a pleasant one and took us about 10 minutes.
The other day my wifey took the car and I was a pedestrian for half a day. Man, I forgotten how busy is the public transport service. Still, I revive the fond memories of going to work on a bus and reading my newspapers along the way. My wifey fetched me after Friday prayers and we went to Sentosa. Its great to hang out at the beach once in while.
