Race

I have been following the Amazing Race since season 3. Now its on its 8th season which is kinda cool cos this time there are teams of 4 instead of 2 and kids are also involved. Yesterday was the first episode and sadly one of the teams with kids got last and was eliminated.
I always fantasize about what it would be like if me and my wife were to enter. I would be driving I guess and she would be ... hmmm ...shouting from the backseat hehe.

Monday mourning

My boss looked and me on Monday morning and smile. " Yeah .. I know, I know boss... Man U loss to Blackburn," I said. My team not playing well this season. They didn't play well last season too. Hopefully they buck up... hopefully.
Going to watch 'Stomp' tonite yeah! I have never been inside the Esplanade. This is gonna be my first time.
I have been really hungry and sleepy nowadays. I wonder why, is it because of the weather? Or something went wrong with my Biological rhythm? Lately I've develop a craving for instant noodles namely Maggee. Just finished one just now. I hope that this addiction won't last cos its gonna be fasting month soon.

Cooling off ..

I'm currently playing 'The Hulk - Ultimate Destruction'. However I have not touched the game for over a week which is not really normal for me. Taking my time I guess after finishing a few games - Lego Star Wars, Ratchet and Clank 3(great game) and God of War which I would say ranked among the top ten games that I played. I would rate it 2nd next to the MGS series that I played. The only problem with the game is that it contains partial nudity so I would not recommend to my nephew. Kratos is such a cool character that I used the name as one of my password. What makes the game cool is the hero, the weapons, the magic, the moves, the storeyline, the graphics and the way it relates to Greek mythology. I especially like the part where Kratos had to find the Pandora box to defeat Ares. It was located on top of a temple carried by the titan Chronos who was punished by Zeus, made to wander around the desert of lost souls. He had to battle the Screaming Sirens before hitching a ride on top of Chronos and it took him 3 days to climb the top of the temple. Anyway I hope they make more great games like this before PS3 hit the market.

$2000 per seat ...

I'm a big fan of horror movies. However for the past decade there wasn't much horror in the cinema. It was only until recently that there has been some sort of revival especially horror movies from the East. One such movie was the 'Ring'... I remembered people were screaming at the last scene. I just watched 'Shutter' recently, a Thai horror movie. It was oklah but the ending very was interesting ..it made me check my weight after that (if you watch the movie you would know why). But I felt 'Ju On' was better .. I watched the English version.
Recently I went to Orchard and saw an office chair very similar to the one that I am using in the office. It was an Art and Decor shop so all the furniture are stylish and expensive. So when I looked at the price of 'my office chair' I flipped. '$2000 !!! ' Wow! When I got back to work and told my colleagues about it they say they knew about it a long time ago. I personally feel that the company should have made better use of the money like giving me more bonus rather than spend so much on a stylish butt rest.

A day at the Zoo

Born to be wild

Its been a long time since I've been to the zoo. Man it was great to be there again. I found out some facts like the difference between a spotted jaguar and a leopard, watch the shows and went to the new attractions. I had a great time.
2 days after the trip a had a fit of vomiting and was totally flat out after that. Not only did I not go to work but I barely had the energy to get out of bed. But I manage to survive. Alhamdulillah.
My wifey's birthday is coming.. thank god I brought her a present already cos my well is drying up.

I went to Johor again. My wifey went to pick up some stuff and then we head down to ... where else? .. Angsana. I discovered that there is some sort of mini archery range beside the arcade. I thought we could try but my wallet came up a little short.
Before we went back I manage to smuggle 2 PS2 games woo hoo! My wife, as usual, was furious when she found out but what can she do? Video gaming is my passion and so far it had not been harmful to anybody.

Paint ball bruise

I had another paintball session a couple of weeks ago. Above was my souvenir. It is healed now and do not look like that anymore. I did my usual commando roll and no nonsense warfare attitude but still I was shot.
Last week was my hospital visiting week . I went to NUH( my mom in law), Alexandra(friend) and Tan Tock Seng( my best fren bro in law). Even my nephew was admitted for a few days. All of them have recovered Alhamdulillah.
