A few years ago I was at the national stadium in my army pants and boots watching the 2nd then Tiger Cup final between Singapore and Indonesia. The crowd erupted when Indra Shahdan scored one of the two winning goals. I rushed back to camp after the match.
A few weeks ago it was the classic case of ' I thought you bought the tickets' messup between me my best friend. When I realized that he didn't when he thought that I did, I rushed to National Stadium only to find out that they sold out at 3pm. I came at 345pm . I ordered some pizza and we went to watch it at my house .
Two weeks ago I actually went to the 1st leg final and this time I bought the tickets early. As I was queuing to buy the tickets I saw some people eating their lunch, it was lunch time at that time, and people taking a cab just to que for the tix to the match. But I guess it was worth it cos Spore won 2-1 against Thai.
Last week I watch the 2nd leg at my mom in law's house. It was her birthday and my wifey side were celebrating by eating a big seafood dinner there. Plus my dad in law just bought a big 32 inch lcd TV. We shouted ourselves hoarse when Khairul Amri scored the winning goal.
This week , I am contemplating of buying the new Lions jersey which is blue. But maybe gotta get ,my pay first cos my well is drying up.
